Book of Congratulations for Prince William and Catherine Middleton

In celebration of the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton, Her Honour the Honourable Barbara Hagerman, Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island, invites the public to Government House to sign a guest book of congratulations and enjoy a piece of wedding cake.

“As the future King and Queen of England, and of Canada, I know there is great interest in this marriage,” said Her Honour. “Prince Edward Island has always welcomed members of the Royal Family and I want Islanders to feel they are a part of the celebration.”

The book of congratulations will be available inside the front entrance of Government House on Friday, April 29; Monday, May 2; and Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 12 - 2 p.m.

People can drop in and write their best wishes to the happy couple.

The book will be presented to Prince William and Catherine during their visit to Prince Edward Island in July.
