Prince Edward Island welcomes new IT company

A North American leader in business software solutions for small to mid-sized enterprises is expanding its operation to Prince Edward Island, says Minister of Innovation and Advanced Learning Allen Roach.
“Accelerating growth in key sectors of our economy such as information technology is a priority for the provincial government,” said Minster Roach. “This is an excellent opportunity for talented IT and business professionals to gain valuable employment in Prince Edward Island.”

As part of the labour rebate program delivered by Innovation PEI, CONTAX will be adding 37 jobs into the Prince Edward Island job market. Funding will be granted to the company based on the number of jobs created over five years, a projected total contribution of $675,000.
The Prince Edward Island office has already hired its first employee, and is presently seeking to hire five more skilled Information Technology (IT) professionals. Current positions offered include SAP professionals and those with a technical background in science or engineering.
