Geoff Townsend is returning to the Island to become principal secretary to the premier. Mr. Townsend spent six years as director of communications and legislative affairs for the Province of Prince Edward Island and most recently was the principal secretary to the Premier of Nova Scotia.

Teresa Hennebery has been appointed Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental and Public Affairs. Ms. Hennebery is returning to the provincial public service after completing a work interchange with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and was a former Assistant Deputy Minister of Health Operations for the province.

Rochelle Gallant has worked with the province since 1992 and has been named Assistant Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs.
