PEI is My Home campaign celebrates all Islanders

Innovation PEI

A new education and awareness campaign encouraging settlement and retention of both newcomers and current residents has been released to coincide with Islander Day, said Minister of Innovation and Advanced Learning Allen Roach.

PEI is My Home celebrates the multi-generational and newly arrived Islanders who reside in Prince Edward Island,” said Minister Roach. “The campaign utilizes video, print and online media to illustrate the many reasons why Islanders continue to live in our great province. All of us, both newcomers and established residents, can connect to the campaign objective that is to celebrate our people, our cultures, and our beautiful surroundings.”

The PEI is My Home campaign is an initiative of the Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population (former Population Secretariat), as identified in the PEI Settlement Strategy. The mission of this campaign is to build bridges between new Islanders and Islanders who have a deep heritage in Prince Edward Island. The campaign advertising PEIisMyHome.ca redirects you to the government’s Opportunities PEI website, a site with essential information for newcomers or potential residents. The site aims to be a one-stop shop for people seeking information regarding our province’s education, economy, as well as immigrating and working in Prince Edward Island.

“Our province has a long history of being a world-class host to visitors, showcasing genuine hospitality to all. This campaign celebrates all Islanders and why Prince Edward Island is a special place we all call home.”
