Let’s Walk! gets Islanders moving throughout winter months

Go!PEI’s Let’s Walk! program is making it easier than ever for Islanders to stay active during the winter.

School breakfast programs benefit from community support
Education, Early Learning and Culture Minister Doug Currie joined Parkdale Elementary student Camron Watts and volunteer Audrey Mayhew at their school breakfast program.

Government funding of $200,000 annually for school breakfast program is complemented by local donations, fundraising and support from provincial and national organizations.

Egg Farmers of PEI donate $20,000 to school breakfast programs

The PEI Healthy Eating Alliance is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Egg Farmers of PEI with support from the Breakfast Club of Canada. The Egg Farmers of PEI will provide $10,000 for egg purchases and $10,000 for egg equipment (storage/cooking) to interested school breakfast programs this year.
