Scope and content
This collection consists of seven original letters written by Henry Shearman to his sister Marian Reynolds, who lived in England. The other six letters were all written from PEI, from October 1836 to October 1843. Also included with the collection is a biographical sketch of Henry Shearman, written by Alejandro S. A CD-ROM containing an electronic copy of the biographical sketch, transcripts of the letters, and digital copies (scans) of the original letters is also included.
