This series consists of published materials accumulated by members of the Macdonald family. They include Prince Edward Island government publications such as Speeches from the Throne, Debates of the House, a copy of a Journal of the House of Assembly, and the 1913 Year Book. The series also contains publications relating to the Captain John Macdonald, Brudenell Point, copies of the "Prince Edward Island Magazine", and an 1883 issues of the "Charlottetown Herald". The published materials range in date from 1834 to 1968 and are arranged in chronological order.
