Biographical history

Red Point Lodge # 33, Independent Order of Good Templars was installed in Baltic Hall, Prince Edward Island, on 28 November 1912 by the Provincial Deputy of the Order. Officers were installed from among the 28 charter members and committees were organized to look after membership, finance, and care of the sick. Primarily a temperance society with membership open to both men and women, programs consisted of mixed entertainment, discussion, and debate on the promotion of sobriety.

The fonds contains a roll book and constitution of the Lodge and two volumes of minutes from November 1912 to March 1918.
