Scope and content

The fonds consists of a formal mounted portrait of Richard and Mary Grace Seaman taken by George H. Cook, photographer in Charlottetown, ca. 1890. Richard Seaman (1844-1900) was the son of William and Ann Seaman of Lot 24, Prince Edward Island. In 1865 he married Mary Grace Harding (1848-1945) of Charlottetown. The couple and their family lived in Souris, PEI, where Richard practiced the trade of shoemaking.
