Biographical history

Sterling Stratton is a local artist living in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Together with his wife Gloria, Sterling runs a business called Stratton Pen & Ink, creating sketches of Island scenes, churches, historical buildings, and homes. In addition to producing sketches on an individual basis for clients, Sterling has also self-published five volumes of sketches which contain background information about the sites. In 2006 he won a Heritage Award for his book about places of historical interest in Charlottetown.

The fonds consists of five volumes of pen and ink sketches by Sterling Stratton, including three about Prince Edward Island churches in the year 2000, one commemorating the 150th anniversary of the City of Charlottetown, and one based on the University of Prince Edward Island campus.
