The Departments of Health and Social Services and Seniors announced that the French Language Services Analyst position has been filled.

“We are very pleased to announce that Élise Arsenault is the successful candidate for the French Language Services Analyst position,” said Doug Currie, Minister of Health and Social Services and Seniors. “This is a key position for French language services within the Department of Health and the Department of Social Services and Seniors.

The position is important to ensuring we are able to continue to plan for, and implement, French language services to the French and Acadian speaking community.”

The French Language Services Analyst is responsible for providing expert advice, assistance, direct support, and leadership to the Department of Health and the Department of Social Services and Seniors in the area of French language services.

“The position also plays an active role in service delivery to the French community in Prince Edward Island,” said Úna Hassenstein, Manager of Corporate Services, Department of Health. “This position ensures that policies, programs and services for both departments are consistent with the French Language Services Act and standards, in relation to service delivery in both official languages. “
