Scope and content
In 1952, a Ladies Aid Society was established in Cornwall. The purpose of this group was to allow the women of the church to gather for social activities and to help raise money for the church. The women of the Ladies Aid Society were also responsible for preparing the parsonage for the arrival of new ministers and their families. This included cleaning, painting, papering and repairing the parsonage as well as stocking the pantry shelves with basic food staples for the new family.
This subseries consists of the minutes of the Cornwall Ladies Aid Society for the period 1952 to 1961.
